So I have a close friend that I used to be able to speak to and text quite often. My life was less complicated and less full of shit then. Don't get me wrong, there was still shit, just a considerably less amount of it then. Life got busier, time went on, babies were born, moves were made and career opportunities arose... well they were offered anyway.... we'll have more on that later. Due to the changes in both our lives I started not having time to respond to all the texts. In an attempt to keep in touch I tried to answer as many online posts as I could and text back at odd random hours when i could. This, however; was not a feasible form of communication. A blog was mentioned by this dear friend of mine and a link was given. My family and work indulged life suffocated any hopes of me actually retaining the information that was provided to me that day. Life went on... random texts continued to be sent... Updates via status bars on facebook were rather common... Until recently during a mobile msn conversation with this beautiful and dear friend of mine. He baby was moving forward with his milestones, she had changed jobs 3 different times and I had no idea where she was working anymore, and the ever so popular blog was mentioned yet again. A link was given, and a forgiving yet hopeful plea was yet gain itching its way onto the text screen... "Tosha, you really should start a blog so that we can keep in touch." She did all the right things, even threw in a little peer pressure! "well Calli has one now, I have her link on mine" So, for my dear loving friend; though I am far, I shall try to keep you close. I vow to at least attempt to update once a month.... Yes, I think I can do that.... I said attempt, right?
